Meet Your Therapist

My name is Johannah Song, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDR Certified therapist. I specialize in working with adults living with the impact of trauma, including complex PTSD, dissociation, chronic anxiety, childhood and sexual abuse, childhood neglect, and recent traumatic events. I also have a passion for supporting clients healing from religious trauma and relational abuse, as well as providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients.

In our work together, I draw from EMDR, ego states and parts work, mindfulness, and acceptance-based therapy. My goal is to help you gently process the past, calm the nervous system, and build new ways of living that feel safer, freer, and more connected.

Outside of my role as a therapist, I enjoy time with my dogs Sinbad and Udon, tending to houseplants, watching horror movies, and relaxing with hobbies like coloring, Scrabble, or a good mystery book. These things help me stay balanced and grounded — something I believe is essential for both therapists and clients.

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and it takes courage to begin. My hope is to provide a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. If you’re ready to start this process, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as we work toward healing, connection, and lasting change.
